I've realized recently that when you have acne, people stop talking about your skin. It's a strange phenomenon. I've had acne for atleast a decade now, and I've realized that when my skin is pretty and clear people discuss their skin problems in front of me, but when I'm in the middle of one of my hard core acne cycles people never mention the word around me...well except my cousin Mike. You see one thing I respect more than anything is the fact that Mike calls a spade a spade. He may say things like wow you should use your christmas money and buy some facial scrub. Maybe that will take care of your problem. Honestly, I give him 100% more credit for saying it to my face than behind my back. Then I thought about it. I would rather have reinforcement of some kind rather than not hear anything at all. How do I know what my skin looks like, I overanalyze it. When it looks nice I want to hear about it, but when it looks like shit, I'd like to know too. My mother is the worst culprite of this behavior...she'll discuss my skin and how it looks with anyone who will listen but me. Its honestly annoying. So bottom line...Just open your mouth...we know you're talking about it.
You know what else pisses me off...the people that whine to me about one single zit. Geez get over it...everyone gets them...try spending most of your money and your time getting rid of them. Then come whine to me about it.
